i know this has been discussed, but I can’t find the answer. Sorry for asking a question that has been probably answered many times before.
Hyatt owners are provided with an Interval International account paid for by the annual MF’s. I think I read that Marriott Weeks owners have to set up their own Interval International account, pay for it themselves, and can deposit their Marriott week’s into this account if they want to trade. Have I got my facts straight?

Yes and no. Marriott provides an Interval International account paid for by the annual Marriott Vacation Club dues that cover all the enrolled weeks owned by a MVC member. But if you aren't a member of the MVC (aka Destinations Club) or are but have weeks that aren't enrolled then you have to pay for a separate II membership for your unenrolled weeks.

^^^ This. I have two II accounts - one paid for by my membership dues with MVC for my destination points, and one I pay for that I use for my resale-bought MVC weeks (non-enrolled).

We had 2 Interval accounts, but closed our personal paid for account when we enrolled all our eligible weeks in the DC points programme and received the corporate account with payment of our annual DC Club dues.

Thanks all clear now! I called and opened a personal II account, 2 years for $99. When I log into II, all of our Hyatt week’s show up under one account number and the Marriott’s show up under a different account number..

and just as an fyi if you purchase another non Marriott timeshare (that doesn't require a specific corporate account), it can be added into the non corporate Marriott account that you set up.

II can be hard to figure out sometimes. We had a separate account for many years for our Sheraton unit, well before the Marriott purchase. When we purchased our two resale Marriott units, they were just added to our Sheraton account. No separate account needed.

Bucky, do you see all the Marriott's and Sheraton's during the preference periods with the single Sheraton II account?

The week that is being used for the search determines whether preference periods are visible.
If you want to see Vistana preference periods, you search using a Sheraton/Westin week.
If you want to see Marriott preference periods, you switch over to the Marriott week.
