Is it possible for a deed to be recorded to a trust(or other points entity) in an deed to points transaction. The transaction to points rescinded. And the deed to remain as a recorded instrument ahead of the original deed purchase recording?

Because I once knew the locations where you owned, are you asking if a week that was converted to Wyndham points can be removed from Wyndham points.? If so, the answer is yes.

Regardless, your question would be better answered if you gave more details.

How would the reversal be documented with respect to the deed ? Would it be deeded back to the owner by the points entity?

Would you please confirm or not if this relates to Wyndham.

When a fixed or floating week is converted to Wyndham points there is no conversion of deeds per se. What happens is an Assignment and Assumption document is executed. The week or deed owner assigns usage of that week to Wyndham and in return receives an amount of Wyndham points to use. The assignment and assumption is voidable by either party or subsequent parties. Wyndham typically voids for non payment of MF. Deed owners can void although there is little reason to do so since they have first priority on reservation of their week and can use the resorts within the point system if not exercising that priority.

I would think the seller could provide a copy of the A & A for you, on my copy it is item 10 which deals with cancellation. I'm not sure of the notification process, someone else should be able to advise you on that.
