Within Wyndham you can book 1-14 nights. With RCI you can only book weeks.

But, you can only book single nights within 15 nights of check-in. Some resorts require a 3 night minimum until, I believe, 60 days out.

I guess the point is, resale doesn’t face any additional restrictions when compared to retail in that regard.
