I’m in for everything except the salad! These would be the only reasons I would probably ever go to a ballgame again anyway.

When I was growing up we had a Chinese take out place across from my elementary school. When we were released for lunch (can you imagine 1st -6th graders able to leave school and cross the street to get lunch or walk home today?????) I used to get a 'Chinese Hot Dog' It was a hot dog inside a eggroll wrapper. 50 cents each. I loved those things. Very similar to the Detroit Coney Egg Rolls in the article.

Next time I am back in the old neigborhood, I have to see if there is still a chinese take out there and if they have the chinese hot dog still.

We went to a Montreal Expos game in the 1980s! They did have very good smoked meat sandwiches! (And the whole game was announced in French. Rusty Staub was still playing, and he was Le Grande Orange.)
