Marriott ROFR'd my sale-- how long until they contact me?

It's been a week since this happened. My Newport Coast Villas was ROFR'd on February 7 and I still have not heard a word from them... not an email or a phone or a text .... nothing. Is this normal?

I have a week reserved for June. I want them to pay the maintenance fees for 2019. It was in the original purchase agreement with my buyer. Will they honor that?

Generally, they have to buy on the same terms as you sold it, but you should read the exact rofr language in your cc&rs to be sure.

Here is the language from Shadow Ridge (not sure if Newport differs). If they accepted, you have a binding contract with Marriott and should demand performance and payment in accordance with the terms of the written offer to purchase.

I still have not heard from Marriott. How long do they take to deliver the paperwork to me? One of the reasons I listed it so low was I wanted to get out of it fast. This whole thing has backfired. UGH!!!

Took Marriott 3 month until I got my check.

I feel your pain but it does take a while. There is a heavy backload of ROFR's and it will take a while to get through the stack. They will also perform all the due diligence of buying property like a title search.
