Sheraton/Westin timeshare stay credit

Do you get Marriott stay credit for a Westin or Sheraton timeshare II getaway stay?

(I know you do for a Marriott timeshare stay.)

No - we didn't for our getaway to Westin Cancun last July. We would up getting a bunch of points for going, and then more for attending a presentation, and then more again for anything we charged to the room. No night credits, though.

You would not have received credit for last July, but YES you do receive credit beginning August 18, 2018.

We stayed at Sheraton Vistana Villages from Feb 2 to Feb 9 and have not yet received Marriott night credit. We have received nights credit for the hotels we stayed in on the way down and back. I just assumed we weren't going to get the credit since the Sheraton timeshare program has nothing to do with Marriott rewards. I also know that we didn't used to get SPG nights credit for our Sheraton timeshare stays.

Should I be reaching out? Maybe they didn't have my Marriott reward number associated with our stay.

You should reach out. Did you have any incidental charges to your villa for which you received points? If you had such charges and did not receive points then that is a good indicator you didn't provide your Marriott number upon check-in.

Thank you, good point, we did have charges but no points credit. I wish I would have thought to ask if they needed my marriot rewards number, I guess I assumed they had it on file.
