I want to make a reservation for a one-bedroom unit in Sheraton Broadway Plantation. The one-bedroom premium units do not come up for the period I am requesting but two different one-bedroom villas do come up. Both have the same staroptions value (24,050). One of the two is marked "Low availability".

What is the difference between the two? Phase? Which would be preferable? Anyway to know which phase I am reserving? Looks like one phase has a balcony (Palmetto) but not the other?

different phases. Palmetto is preferable to Plantation phase, because Palmetto 1BRs are bigger and have a balcony. However, they are farther from the pool, bar and lobby.

It should say if it is Palmetto or not. Also a Palmetto does not necessarily have the same number of So's for the same date due to the differences in the calendar. You may be seeing a small stand alone one bedroom in the plantation section vs the smaller 1 br part of a 2 BR lock off. I don't believe their is a way to tell online. I would think if you called they could maybe tell you. There are fewer stand alones so that is probably the one with limited availability. I believe the stand alone small bedrooms in the Plantation phase do have balconies.

No, it doesn't say either phase. I will have to call and see what they say.

No, it doesn't say either phase. Based on the diagrams on the SVN website the Plantation phase 1 bedrooms have the balcony.
The large premium 1 br plantation rooms have balconies. Most of the smaller 1 BR villas do not in the plantation phase.

Apparently when I am in home usage it tells me the phase during star option period it does not. There is no way to tell online what the difference is, you will have to call.

SBP is an ongoing problem when reserving the small 1-bedrooms. The standalone 1-bedrooms ("shotgun" units) in the original phase have balconies; the small side of the lock-off has no balcony. But, it doesn't say online which is which. The front desk can't tell you, either. There are also frequent problems here the small lock-offs say no availability online, even though there should be plenty of them. (For example, it sometimes says every last week for the next year is booked, even weeks that are way off-season.)

The suggestion to go with the low availability unit seems like a good one. That may be the more desirable type -- assuming other owners can figure out which type they want to book.
