What happens when I sell my last RCI points timeshare?

I only have one timeshare left with RCI points. The resort could take it back. But I wonder what happens to my RCI points account? Will I lose all the points I have not used? If not, I am ready to pay for MF and deed the timeshare back to the resort. Otherwise I need more planning...

Many thanks,

Jane

I have just recently run into this situation. I had only one contract left in RCI Points. I sold that and was concerned because I have five exchanges and certainly don't want to lose them or any remaining points. In filling out the RCI Membership Transfer Form, I carefully filled it out and followed up with an RCI Points staffer. I was told that all my reservations and points would remain in my account through the end of my paid membership.

Thank you!

That is great to know. I will start working with the resort to transfer my deed.

Rumor has it that you can even re-up your RCI membership and use the points you have until they all expire and even after that, you can book the cash Last Calls and Extra Vacays.
