Reservation appears twice on Reservations Page,Same Confirm# & Guest Name

Reservation appears twice on Reservations Page,Same Confirm# & Guest Name. Will my points be deducted twice? Happen to anyone else?

Reservations appearing twice isn’t new. It’s been reported in the past.
No one reported that their points were deducted twice.
In order to check that the points were only deducted ounce, go to “my ownership “ then “points” scroll to points history to see how many points were deducted and which points buckets they came from

That happened to me too this week and it hadn't happened in over a year. Check back over the next couple of days, it should be right. Just keep track of your reservations in case one of them quits showing up. If you call in they will be able to see it but it won't show up for you to see it. That hasn't happened to me in a while either but it happened when I was seeing the same reservation twice so I don't know if there is a connection.

It was something like this that led to the 2016 suspensions Reservations were canceled points came back, and so did the reservation, which could be cancelled again and again and again... creating tons of "extra" points

I wonder what would happen if the op cancelled one of these reservations

It is an old issue, that I haven't seen for awhile. Yes, as others have said, be careful! If you see 2 reservations and you want 1 - do not delete 1 of them - they will both be gone. I am not aware of an associated accounting issue (as was reported pre-voyager). But it sure is not good if you delete a reservation that you wanted.

I am also seeing a past reservation in my current list of reservations. Another old (and I thought resolved) issue. It's a Dec 2-4 reservation, just hanging out.

This software is just so bad. It was never good, and now they are 'enhancing it' (points protection for one thing). Expect this kind of crap moving forward. This is what happens when you fail to stabilize and continue to build on a crappy foundation.

It looks like maybe some developer pulled in an older version of code - some type of version control issue. Pretty scary to see these issues coming back like this.

I had a reservation like that. When I canceled one they both disappeared.

UPDATE: Just to update everyone, the doubled reservation has been removed and I now have just the one reservation appearing. Wyndham made the correction itself, I didn't contact Wyndham regarding the issue.

I am seeing a duplicated reservation this morning.

I have 2 reservations for the same dates. But I see 3 on my list of current reservations - 1 is duplicated, 1 is not.

I'm glad you posted this, I might not have noticed.
