Enrolled owners still pay the Eplus fee. It isn't free. However, if you don't have Eplus you would still get unlimited free Marriott to Marriott retrades. For your new request, are you seeing the button to add EPlus instead of the button to do an EPlus retrade?

When I log in and start to modify the request, it still has the box checked to purchase eplus. However, at the bottom of the page, it states it was previously purchased as follows:

Previously Purchased Items for this Exchange
E-Plus
Change your destination, resort, unit size, or travel dates up to three times for one low fee. More Details

I didn't provide a credit card when I entered the new request (since there is no fee for exchanges as an enrolled member). I'll have to check that I get my refund for the prior on-going request.

While no one has tried it out, it could be possible to do a Marriott to Marriott trade for free in the enrolled corporate II account, add EPlus and then do a retrade to a non Marriott property using the EPlus for no extra exchange fee. Could be BIG if it works.

I confirm the above, as suggested by dioxide45 works. I could see what I wanted in inventory which is why I elected to try this. I traded an enrolled Marriott studio into a Marriott 1 bedroom paying ($99) upgrade fee and adding eplus ($59), total of $149. Then I used my first eplus to trade into a Non Marriott (Westin) 1 bedroom. This had no cost and used 1 of 3 retrades. My intent was to book a 1 bedroom in Palm Desert (set dates) using my enrolled Marriott studio. Marriott was my first choice (i.e. reduced fees) but none had been available & Westin was. Alternatively if I traded directly into the Westin I would have incurred a $189 trade fee and upgrade fee $99, totaling $288. On top of that I was unclear if i'd have any additional trades left (Marriott or not) without purchasing an eplus $59.

If you had traded in to the Westin first, you could have retraded to a Marriott for no cost since your week is enrolled. Good to know for sure how this all works. This is a big benefit of enrolled weeks and ePlus.
