Bump......no one wants this? I’ve never stayed at the resort but I’ve gotten great trades through Interval with this timeshare.

At one time I had 4 timeshares and thought this would be one of easier ones to give away...haha

My vacation plans have changed big time in the last 4-5 years....kids in school.....gymnastics and softball leave no time for those great shoulder season trades anymore.....I don’t even want to search Interval anymore.....I see trades I would jump at....then reality hits

You could try putting on Kijiji in Calgary , Edmonton or Winnipeg
I think it snowed in Alberta already this Sept .

Just curious -- why list in Canada? The resort is in Arizona. Do Canadians vacation a lot in Arizona?

Yes, Arizona is very popular as a destination in Western Canada. We did have snow for a day or two here last week, although that is unusual.

I'm not sure if kijiji (Canadian equivalent of craigslist) would work, but I agree the cities listed would be good ones to try. Ads are free, so not much downside.

I would try the Craigslist in scottsdale/phoenix as well.

I have a 2 bedroom lockoff here, and can confirm lots of great II trades are possible with the one bedroom units.

If you're buying as an II trader, the small one bedroom (this type) is probably the better option. In my experience the two sides trade equally in II, but the smaller side has lower fees.

I agree with all of that except 3x the traffic of craigslist. My guess would be 300x the traffic ☺. Network effects mean that once everyone was using kijiji, there was no way for craigslist to get a foothold. I've never heard of anyone mention it here ever.

Edited to add: I do hope someone takes the OP up on this, SDO really is a great ownership.

Do you need to have an II account separate from an account you would have with a corporate II account (ie a unit that is in the SVN)? I assume so, but wanted to ask.

Yes, unfortunately.

Some Tuggers have three II accounts: Vistana mandatory, Marriott points/enrolled, and Everything Else.

Yep, that is us. Although after we have used up our deposit weeks and used the exchanges in our "Everything Else" account, that one will be shut down. We will then be down to just the Vistana and Marriott corporate accounts.

Just to help the seller of this unit. I own at SDO and I truly love this resort. It’s a great trader and you can use the Vistana to Vistana trade option in II to get some great trades via OGS. This resort is close to everything in Scottsdale and it’s a great place to stay.
