We are destination club points members and are going to be in Orlando area in late October.
Which MVC hotel would you recommend for 2 people in their early 60s? We are planning on going to Disney and Universal.
Thanks.

We are local in orlando and have stayed at all of the local MVC properties, and most of the others as well...

They are all great, and they are only a few minutes apart.

You have the “Palms” resorts near the Marriott World Center, which is minutes from Epcot and the rest of Walt Disney World. About 20 minutes to Universal. Massive hotel thay you can walk or shuttle to.

Grande Vista, Cypress Harbour and Harbour Lake are closer to Sea World, but also just a few minutes to Universal and Disney.

Lakeshore Reserve is next to the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton.

If it were me, based on the limited info that you shared, I would stay at Lakeshore.

All the MVC properties are nice. School is in session in October so less kids traveling then.
Harbour Lake will usually have the most kids- it’s geared for young ones.

One thing you might want to consider is on site/ close by restaurants.
The palms give you access to World center restaurants.
Lakeshore gives you the JW & Ritz.
I loved the Golf Club restaurant at Grande Vista.
Most of the other just have very casual family/ pool bar type food.

Really if you’ve never been you can’t go wrong- see what is available for the least points.
Enjoy.

Marriott’s?
No, they are all nice.

The rest is a matter of personal choice.
Harbour Lake is geared to kids with its pirate pool.
The Palms access to World Center amenities and restaurants
Lakeshore access to JW & Ritz- I’ve never stayed there
Grande Vista & Cypress Harbour are family favorites for us
I’ve stayed at all except Lakeshore

Thanks for the input everybody.
Lakeshore which is the one we wanted to stay at, is the only one with no availability. Doesn’t sound like we can go wrong with whatever property we pick though.
