Not surprised. I was always under the impression that only 2 guests are free for entry to lounge. We were not able to have more than 2 in CUN and there was a restriction of 2 hours per day.
one of the issues that I had was that originally I was told that if u forget your priority card ar home you can get a refund twice a year, but this benefit doesnt exist anymore.
Is ridiculous to eliminate 3x points for the $300.. who knows what will be next..

Lol. I didn't know about the price protection so I guess I won't miss it. With respect to the lounge access, we always seem to be in the wrong terminal and have only used the "benefit" once. Losing the point value on the $300 won't bother me either. I really love the 1.5x for purchasing tickets and their primary coverage for rental cars so we will still keep the card.

These changes won’t affect our use of the card. I can understand why we shouldn’t earn points on the spend for which we get a credit up to $300. That was a nice feature to have, but a double dip for sure.

Best regards.

Mike

Agreed. Certainly not deal killer tweaks for sure.

Other than losing 900 UR points, the rest of the reduced or eliminated benefits don't affect me as I don't use them. No issue for me.

Pretty much the same for me, I only use the priority pass occasionally and its usually just my wife and I, so this still works for us.

I was always surprised that this benefit existed. I liked it, but really--why should we get points for a "free" purchase?

The reason I think is ridiculous is because is such a small amount of points.. but I guess it adds up.. thats about $13.5 if u redeem for travel.

I love this card and am glad they aren't taking away more benefits. The card is almost too good to be true, and the ability to take an unlimited number of guests into the lounges always seemed a bit ridiculous. Two guest is fine, and really one guest would be good enough. I am happy with the card and cannot believe the number of points we get for our MF's with that card. We both have the cards, and we love the benefits. It's amazing.
