I'm trying to make reservations with a short lead time at HHV. I see multiple days and multiple room types but none for longer than 6 days at a time for a 1 bedroom. It appears I would have to move rooms to extend my stay. Is there any flexibility so you don't have to move? Can the front desk amend your reservation if there are rooms available? Also, there are multiple dates that are only 2 days in length. How does that work when the minimum stay is 3 days? Does it make sense to call the reservation people instead of trying to do this online? Sorry for rambling, just new to the process and confused. Thanks in advance!!

We did this last year. Moved rooms 4 times in 2 weeks. Pain in the butt, but we still got a Hawaiian vacation! For the 2 night blocks you can book open season and pay cash. If you can find two long sets with only a day or two break in between then bridge with a hotel for two days if you can’t get open season.
What about trying a different tower?

Dates that show with only two days can be used by someone who already has a reservation and wants to add a day or two to the beginning or end of it. That's why they show.

When the inventory is initially loaded in the system its full weeks, only a full home week can be booked 12-9 months out. As soon as Club Season opens the weeks get broken up into smaller reservations and the leftovers. Some people may book 3-4 days, or 9-10 days and move to other islands, etc.

HGVC doesn’t really care if there are leftovers because the week owners already paid for them with maint fees. If there are bits left over for open season cash thats just gravy for HGVC.
