I am looking for a two bedroom in October in Vegas. But these units are available to me for my dates, I realize neither are on the strip.

I am leaning towards the Wyndham resort because I read that it has been renovated and has free shuttle to the strip. I am looking for a hotel with a resort feel. Would like to spend a lot of time at the pool. Just looking for your thoughts? Which resort would you recommend and why? Thank you!

Edited to add: I can also book the Grandview. I have been there before and loved the resort, but it's a little far from the strip and they charge for the shuttle. Would love your option on this resort also.

While it may not be "central Strip" the HGVC Boulevard is on the strip by the most common definition I've heard (Mandelay Bay to the Stratosphere or Sahara Ave). It's between Circus Circus and Sahara.

I've stayed there once a few years ago (and will be there again in October). It's a fine resort. The pool area was nice, the units were well furnished. It's a mile+ walk down to the denser part of the strip (starting about Wynn IMO).

I've never stayed at the Wyndham so I can't comment on that.

Thank you. I didn't realize you could walk to the strip from HGVC.

HGVC is on Las Vegas Blvd or the strip. But it is a long walk to any of the casinos that you want to visit. It is a great resort with a nice pool and workout room and it is away from a lot of the noise and traffic. You can catch a bus, cab or Uber pretty easy to go up or down the strip. It is a lot nicer or better than Wyndham or Grandview.

I was going to book the HGVC Boulevard today but noticed they started a $25 per day resort fee on exchange guests this year.

I ended up booking Wyndham because of the resort fee. Plus Wyndham have renovated all their units except one building.
