This was a stay using a MR travel package.

The resort as expected was very tidy and clean.

The "concierge team" reached out more during this visit than any other visit I have had there. Assume it is because I was their on MR points instead of II. But, at each encounter they were ok with taking no for an answer.

The room had cleaner in it! Ok, I know this is such a small thing.....but with all the TS stays we do I have always been amazed that resorts don't provide something to clean the counter top, stove, kitchen table, etc. I hope all of Marriott starts to do this.

I requested a low floor room close to the main pool - they honored it with Building 81, room 1205. Probably easy for them since most dislike this building due to the noise. Room has gone through renovation.

Excited about the cleaner! I always buy one to use but would be great if provided it at other resorts too.
So was it noisy in Building 81? We are going to GV in September and want to be near pool.

I have been here twice since the new year and no one reached out to me about anything. I do not own Marriott, I traded in.

They will bring something if it's not there and you ask.

We always request cleaner if it is not there. We have had mixed responses. Many MVCI will bring a spray bottle of cleaner.

We did have a site recently that would only send someone up to clean the counters. Add cleaner to the grocery list in this case.

This is typically my experience too when I trade in. This week I was on a Marriott Travel Package & the calls came in. Maybe they assumed since I was staying in that way, I was fresh meat with no TS knowledge and more of a fit for presentation.

Hmmm. Maybe they are ratcheting back the sales pressure. We stayed at Aruba Surf on an Interval exchange in December. I’m an owner there but had rented that week and then decided to go after all. They told me to go get my gift at the concierge desk which I skipped but then went down the next day. I went to the desk, she gave me the gift (can’t remember what it was) and that was the end of it. No mention of a presentation, no calls about a presentation, nothing! I actually felt a little unloved.
