Any suggestions where to rent equipment from based on convenience and/or discount to Marriott owners? We plan to rent skis and take our own boots/helmets. We plan to ski 3 or 4 days and would like to be charged only for the days we ski.

Slopeside, official valet for Mountainside, has a 25% off for guests. It’s steps off the lobby. Christy’s has better boot fitters though. I’m a little picky wth my boots. If you don’t have epic pass, buy at least 7 days before you ski. Otherwise find a kind soul willing to go with you to the window for the SWAF or Buddy pass.

Is it advisable to call and reserve before hand? Or should we wait to set it up when we get there?

Speaking of which, has anyone sent their ski equipment ahead to a resort? Does it seem cost effective vs paying for baggage fees? Five upcoming skiers/boarders to visit Mountainside with limited transport space.

Thanks!
