Multiple Room Type Search Available

Went to look at availability at GC and found that the Multiple Room Type Search now up and it appears to be working.

It sure is confusing when the rooms aren't really bookable (different room types strung together to make it look like you can book it but you can't).
It is an improvement though. Maybe they can add a filter, besides accessibility add one for presidential?

The inventory shown on the calendar is sometimes wonky. notice in the screen show below that I am booking a night that is "not available"? And, yes, I did actually complete booking this 1dx. Another frustration, I cancelled a 1br to shorten the reservation and it did not return.

Well that's crazy, isn't it?

I have tried using it for a guideline to see what might be available but mostly end up throwing up my hands and vowing not to use it until it is more reliable.

Just amazing the crap they release, and think it's okay to continue to tweak. And consider it progress.

I'll take the 3 steps forward, 1 back. At least I can get to the month I want to book in.....was taking me 20 clicks to see all units in one month.

There you go... a positive attitude

I use the calendar to point me to availability.. if Im looking for something in a particular month, the calendar gives me an idea of what might be available. It helps me drill down to a check in date that works for me. ... I might be able to book right from the calendar, but I might have to go to to the specific search button to book my vacation.

perfect?? Not at all... better than it was? absolutely

I prefer accurately seeing the inventory.

Seeing false availability wastes time.

Looking by room type to be able to see what is truly available, albeit slow, is better than information that is not accurate.

Maybe they should have kept the room type by room type and added a 2nd 'opportunistic' search.

I prefer a lot of things to be different than they are. And if I ran the world, things would be different. But I don’t

I find the “all units” search on the calendar almost useless. But can pretty quickly hit each individual unit type one after another to find something that works

And let’s not forget that we don’t have to click through each month, each search any more

I think Things really are getting better. Of course I’m more of a glass half full kind of guy than half empty

Can any of you even book anything? Every time I try to check to see if I can book something I can't even click on the calendar date or it says...OOPS that's no longer available. I am beyond frustrated!

What is the point of a calendar riddled with errors. Another ploy to try to make us feel like they are making progress? I also repeated received the "oops" from the calendar that showed available (the opposite situation as the snip I posted last night) - but was able to book the exact unit by the book by date. I cancelled a couple more 1br tonight that disappeared. Where - o - where are they going? 1br are not part of auto upgrade.

I dont know where a one bedrooms goes when cancelled; I dont care where it goes,,, after all; I cancelled it. I think we need to accept the fact that Wyndham intends to frustrate any effort to cancel a reservation and rebook it at a discount

Regarding the calendar: The month, no longer reverts back to the current month after every search... Thats progress. if you were able to make your reservation (you say "...was able to book the exact unit" Whats the problem?

I dont see the calendar with errors as pointless. or as a ploy to make us fee that there is progress. The fact is that there has been progress.

Should things have been right from the beginning? absolutely.
Has there been progress from the fu## up we had to deal with a few months ago? yes, thats true too.
