getting calls to buy my timeshare

I am A Grand Bliss owner in Riviera Maya, and recently recieved a call from Remax in Chicago wanted to buy my timeshare..has anyone else received these calls.. they even sent me an email stating how much they would give me for my week...

Those are just generic calls/letters sent out to a list of timeshare owners.

Here is the rule of thumb: If there is ANY kind of upfront fee - it's a scam.

Reputable brokers do not charge upfront fees - they take their fees out of the proceeds of the sale.

100% scam. Remax isn't in the timeshare business.

We've received similar calls.
The last caller called right back when I told him no and hung up on him. He wanted me to know that I was rude to him.
According to Vida, they're scams and they would like the phone numbers in order to track the scammers down.

That could be an exercise in futility. Many of these scammers piggyback phone numbers that show up on call display. Others use their number for a few months and then change phone numbers once they get outed.

You can report these phone numbers to Vida if you want but don't expect a lot of action.
