anyone know the "layout" of the resort...i have a 1 bedroom ocean view reserved and right now the room number is 6504....anyone have any ideas how good the view is/are...i am assuming it is on the 6th floor - i did request as high up as possible figuring the view might be better and less noise also possibly.....anyone's opinions on the resort - everything i have seen is pretty positive.

any idea how expensive it is to eat in san jose del cabo?....my wife and i would be looking for more along the lines of authentic food - so doesn't have to be fancy, just good...need some idea how much cash to bring in pesos.

TIA - midnight

We've enjoyed the restaurant at the Tropicana Inn on the main street of downtown San Jose. The Mega grocery store on the main highway not far from your resort is a good place for groceries.

You can get pesos from an ATM (use one at a bank) easily at the current exchange rate once you get down there. Bring some US $! bills for tips if you like. US currency is readily accepted everywhere, but you might not get the best exchange rate everywhere.

I just found this extensive list on Tripadvisor.

#4 Flora's Field Kitchen sounds interesting. Have any Tuggers been there?

Morgan's and Morgan's II are both very good. Javier's on site, as well as Mi Cocina in the main square are good. Habeneros is good for breakfast.

stayed at Cabo Villa's on DRI external II exchange 2 yrs ago.. while "The Office" restaurant was closed this : http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaura...n_Lucas_Los_Cabos_Baja_California.html#photos was great. Highly recommend. Walking distance to marina shopping/ casino area.

Cabo Azul, I think all areas will be quiet. Stopped by on the airport shuttle which I found on tug. highly recommend: http://www.cabosanlucastours.net/Airport-Transportation.htm
