Looking to go to Sarasota next year. I know Siesta Key is the best but that is not an option. Which resort would you pick and why. Thanks in advance.

What are your choices? II, RCI, owner rental? You weeded out Siesta Key so it is helpful if you list what your options are.

I like Siesta Key but anything on Long Boat Key is my first choice.

options rci or ii

I have points in RCI and a week to trade in II. I see some units at Sandpiper but reviews aren't very recent. The Hyatt of course would be my first choice but would need to rent from Hyatt owner and a little out of my price range I think so looking to see what might be the next best resort to get.

We like walking the Crescent Beach so have always liked Siesta best. Have stayed at Sandpiper , Calini ,Longboat Bay Club and Little Gull. All are very nice IMHO.

It sounds like you are basing your options on visible inventory. I am II only so I can't speak for RCI but you really should be placing a request. That area is almost non existent all year through instant trading.
