Royal Caribbean, the Royal Islander and Royal Cancun are not AI for exchangers.

Phydeaux,
Would you know how we might acquire a 1 bedroom lock-off for two night's in April (10th & 11th)? We are scheduled to stay at the Royal Sands (April 12-April 26), but we need 2 ore nights as our flight arrives Thursday morning, April 10th. Thanks.

Isn't the AI program at The Royal Cancun going to be optional for everyone when it is implemented?

No, optional for members and their guests.

"As with The Royal Sands and The Royal Haciendas, The REFINE All-Inclusive package at The Royal Cancun will be optional for Royal Resorts members regardless of when and how they stay at the resort. In other words, it will be optional for them when staying in their membership unit, exchanging their unit for another one through an internal exchange or with an International Exchange company or when they rent additional units for their personal use.The REFINE All-Inclusive package will be mandatory for non-members who rent at The Royal Cancun through the Reservations Center or an online travel agency such as Expedia or Orbitz. It will be included in their daily accommodation rate and charged at the market price."

The Royal Cancun will have optional AI for exchangers.

Here's the difference I think you refer to (Under "How will the REFINE All-Inclusive Package Work? Read more »)

"Unlike The Royal Sands and The Royal Haciendas, the REFINE All-Inclusive package at The Royal Cancun will be optional for non-member exchange guests who book to stay at the resort through an international exchange company."
