Ok, got this letter from the Bay Club (Annual Owners Meeting Notice), which described the "Election of Candidates for Board Of Directors".

The candidates include: Erich Berndlmaier, David Christensen, Robert Ireland, and Judy Wagner.

Any opinions, does it really matter who I/we pick, or just ignore the proxy like I usually do.

I suppose if I "had to" pick some one, I'd lean toward Judy Wagner, who has a CPA and at least has some background with HOA Boards.

Proxy = :crash: = ?

Vote for the one YOU feel has the experience or that you know. Don't just let them proxy your vote to the existing Boards whim. It is your one chance to be heard in the management of your resort. Use it.

Here's what I do...
1. Check .em out on Facebook, Google & Linkedin.
2. Pay attention to employment history & affiliations.
3. Vote against anyone ID'd as an industry stooge (Kim Kreiger HGVC VP).

I have been a Bay Club owner for over 10 years. Robert Ireland served on the Bay Club board for many years and intructmental in maintaining the high quality of the resort in its tumulous years before and after hiring HGV management. He has devoted time,energy and was one of the most active participants on the board. He is outspoken and collaborative. Robert was the past president of the board and his colleagues have high respect of him. We can't go wrong giving him our vote.
