Cancun Best Resorts for families

Hello: I have never been to cancun.
Can anyone share with me their thoughts on the bes family resorts. I am a member of both RCI and II.

Also, I was just curious if anyone has had any luck getting the Disney resorts through the RCI exchange.

Any of the royal resorts would be a great family choice, or even the new Westin Lagunamar.

Yes, there is a good amount of availability of Disney thru RCI, if you become a tug member you can also take advantage of sightings people post.

Cancun family-friendly

I agree the one of the Royal Resorts is a great option, esp. the ones on the hotel strip in Cancun because you have complete access to the others activities. We're actually in the Royal Caribbean this week because we were unable to fly back to NYC this past weekend and having the resort activities has kept everyone sane.

Be sure when you're checking them out that there is a "The" in front of the resort name, not "the". There are many impostors down there.

Good point - "The Royal Caribbean" "The Royal Cancun" etc. Look for the logo you'll see here: http://www.royalresorts.com

Some hotels/resorts use the name Royal and have a similar logo, but they are not part of "The Royal Resorts."
