Someone on Facebook said this was true and it surprised me. First is this true and if so are there any other Marriotts that have different MFs per season?

I own at Ocean Pointe. In previous years, the only difference was the property tax. Everything else was the same.

I didn't think it was true but he insisted.

It is true but only with respect to property taxes. Note the explanations in the MF sticky threads on TUG for the two states impacted:
>>*Note that Property Taxes for the Florida resorts will vary according to the Resort Calendar seasons, and are included in the MF budgets.
*Note that Property Taxes for the California resorts will vary among owners based on purchase price/date, and are billed separately by the counties.

MF’s are the same. Property taxes are different.

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
Did he say how much the difference was? It may only have been the taxes. I once owned at a Florida property where the difference (due to taxes) was around $90 between high and low season.

I went back to them and told them I thought it was just the taxes and they defiantly said I was wrong.
I guess all of us are wrong, including all of the OP owners on TUG. As a silver owner, I wish my MF's were less than the others.;)

I wonder if it has anything to do with the Florida Club. Are some villas not part of Florida Club, since it adds a fee.

All of Ocean Pointe villas and weeks are in the Florida Club.
