I probably already know the answer to this but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Anyone ever heard of them?

Heres how one of these guys said they operate:

We would first send out a cease and desist order to the Vistana developers on your behalf which mandates them to only deal with our firm on your behalf.
Second we will threaten to sue them on grounds of fraud forcing them to let you out of the contract. If we actually sue them it would become a matter of record and anyone looking them up to possibly buy into the project will see that they are being sued for fraud-thus thwarting possible future sales. They do not want this to happen and they will ask us to inform you to sign and notarize the quit claim deed certified thru the court and county assessors office. Once the developers of Vistana receive that they will send you a letter letting you know that you are no longer owner of Vistana and that you are completely out.

Thanks!

No I wasn't aware of that. Thats very good to hear, thank you.

And this company would have gladly taken your thousands of dollars as a fee and then simply given back your timeshare to Vistana under their program. These types of companies may try to come across as doing a service for the timeshare industry but they absolutely do not look out for owner's best interests. They want the fee.

Lots of BBB complaints about them taking a huge fee with some complaining that they still own their timeshare after more than two years. One says they paid $9,000 to get them out of two timeshares and one (HGVC) has foreclosed on them.

indeed, youd certainly think a company that claimed to be so successful in "fighting for you" would mention that little bit of info.

then again, its hard to ask someone to pay many thousands of dollars for free advice =)

Now that you realize these guys are up to no good, my question is What are/were you hoping to accomplish by using them? How much did they want to charge you for this "service"?
