When my parents switched from a fixed week contract they bought an additional week and the annual assessment summary listed a Bonus Contract worth 195,000 points with a number in the same format as the other (now 2) contracts each worth 105,000. What is/was this Bonus Contract because it disappeared after my father's death when the membership was transferred to my mother. The odd thing is that she was still able to book more than the base 210,000. for several years although less than the 405,000 point value listed on the assessment. Is this a rip-off? I have copies of the assessments just wanted to know exactly what this Bonus Contract is/was.

Bonus points used to be good for 2 years but I think that has changed and they are more typically good for a year now. Even if you've used the bonus points it still shows up on your account until that length of time has passed.

Would they show up on the Annual Assessment as a 'Bonus Contract' with a number the same length as the other named contracts? The Type is BON2. This is deceptive as they were pushing a transfer to the Club Wyndham Access type of system referred to as 'The Count on Me initiative’. The time frame was Fall of 2014. They only gave them 105,000 points for a 2 bedroom fixed week. Wisely Wyndham has changed to "Goodwill Points" but this was before then.

Is there anything you are being charged for that? You shouldn't be. I don't know why it would even still be showing on your account 5 years later.

No there's never been a charge associated with the bonus contract. However everything was messed up because my father died in 2015 and it took forever to transfer the account to just my mother because she didn't have ID with her when they purchased the additional week. What a nightmare!
