I have a week in a 3 Bedroom that I booked back in March 18. On the confirmation it states:

Resort fee: USD 11 per person per day collected at check in. Not applicable for children under the age of 12. To schedule airport transfer to the resort, please enter to:

Will they honor this? THANK YOU.

They do historically. Couldn't hurt to take a copy with you.

It’s dependent on the room size and location rather than per person now.

I had the $11 pp/per day when I booked a GL for this past January. Even though the rate changed to a higher number, they honored the $11 dollar rate without me showing them the paperwork that I had brought with us just in case. At least their computers have correct numbers, so that is a plus.

Is the resort fee now $30. per person per day or has it changed again? Thanks.

NV & RM are now different costs for each room size.
Other Vidata locations vary by location as well .

Mazatlan -Mayan Palace & Sea Garden- have no Vidanta resort fee .

The next test is next week at the Grand Bliss RM. When we booked, it was also $11 pp/per day. I'll post what happens when we get there.

When do you get here? We’re in until the 15th in GL.

We are presently at the GB RM on an II exchange. As they did at GL NV, the $11 pp/pd was given without showing paperwork.
Whereas last month we were able to use the spa in NV, as an exchanger, not here in RM. Refused the update (repeatedly). I don’t know if the spa restrictions were due to busy February week or changed policy (?).
Having been at this resort 7 times since 2003, I am frequently “lost” on the winding “jungle” raised wooden walkways that meander around.
Like at NV, there are carts for transportation but they have limited the pickup spots. We have mostly walked the wood walkways (thanks to knee replacement last year lol).
I would be annoyed if I was paying either $30 pp/pd or $630 a week and was refused use of the spa hot tub which appears lightly used (as was always the case in the past).
One more note, no Fox News on tv here which I applaud as I find them so anti Mexico, but wtf, RT channel (Russian tv) which seems to be anti US IMO.

RM does things differently from NV, particularly with regard to access to resort facilities. Were you staying in GL last time? I believe the Spatium spa is GL only both there and in NV; do they let you use the Brio one or does that one have a hot tub. Gotta agree with you on the lack of use; we were there last week staying in GL on one of our own weeks and used the Spatium hydrotherapy side a couple of times and only saw a couple of other people.

Be careful on the wooden walkways if it rains while you're there; they get quite slippery in spots. Slipped on one of them myself last week.

Used the Spatium spa last month as GL3 trade in NV.
This week we are RM GB3, and it was the Brio where I was denied entry.
I actually prefer the RM Brio spa to the NV Spatium spa.
The RM Spatium (in 2017) would be my second choice if I was rating all 3.

Heavy downpour while we were having dinner at Havana Moon last night, but the walkways dried off fairly well by the time we walked back to GB.

Gracias Eric B. Rained hard for 5-8 minutes while at our suite, so we took a shuttle back to the beach.

Question, do either of you spend time at the pools? Which pool were you frequenting at RM? We like the Beach Club, GL Pool Beach area. Just wondering how long the line was at the Beach area in the morning before they opened.
Thx

We did the Beach Club except for the days we went off the resort this last trip. They open at 9:30 for platinum and 10:00 for others; lines start forming around 9:00 in the high season. GL pool opens at 7:00 and is nice, too.

Yes we like the GL pool also. It’s nice to be able to see the beach while enjoying the pool. Not too picky are we? Ha!

just take a copy of your reservation with fees. I had 3 trips last year with old fee structure (11 pp or no fee with registry). Zero issues all three times with different fees from vidanta.
