..... DO THEY STILL HAVE THE CRAFT FAIR IN PARKING LOT BY MALL?? .
Yes they do-
We visited it for the first time last Feb . There are good food choices there as well / both eat now & take home . It was worth the visit . (I cannot remember which day it is on) .

There is also a smaller one on Saturdays on the other side of the NV Marina .
It is behind the OXXO that is about 100 yds from the driveway of the Mayan Sea Garden . It also has food sold by locals - including cheese , sausage ,vegetables &
crafts .
You can take a collectivo over for about 10;pesos . The collectivos are the Nissan Vans that a lot of the resort (s) staff use to get to work .
In the immediate Nuevo Vallarta Marina / resort zone - one of them runs a clockwise loop and the others run counterclockwise **( before heading back to the their signage listed town) . Since the collectivos come about every 5 minutes - it is quicker than a bus and cheaper than a taxi .
We caught the (right one ) back to the Sea Garden right in front of the mall entrance .
** FYI - we learned how this worked from one of the OPC’s - who sells fishing trips etc
near the OXXO .
