After what felt like a very long on-going search for a specific resort, and week, on Maui, I confirmed a week through RCI last night.

We had one week already booked (through RCI) at Maui Hill, which is our home resort, for March 2019. I was looking for at least another 2-BR to match up with it. I also had a request through Trading Places and so far they had only come up with a 1-BR. After getting numerous emails from RCI, including one as recently as a few days ago, saying there was little chance we'd get the trade, last night they did!

Two weeks on Maui during whale season. I'm happy.

It can and does happen! That's what has kept me a member for so long. Wow, that's awesome!

And Trading Places let me know they just got a 2-BR in for that same week! It never rains but it pours. I told them to change the request to March 2020. All is good.

I also found out my buddy Nancy at TP Maui controls the unit assignment of all trades, including those through RCI. She still has to work with what's available, but I can give her my requests and she'll see what she can do.

That is good news. I can always use good RCI news because I have a tough time getting some of the trades I enter into my searches, and I have a lot of deposits with them currently. It makes for a frustrating experience. But sometimes I get a gem with them, and it makes me happy to get those.
