It seems that my 16,800 StarOptions are expiring at the end of the year. What can I do with them? Can I convert them to Loyalty Points, if so how? I tried to do it on the Dashboard but that did not work. Anyone have another idea?

Unless you are Vistana 5-Star elite, it is too late to do anything with your StarOptions other than use them this year.

Deadlines for banking the options or for converting the options to points has passed. With the small amount you have, unless they are Flex options, the only thing you could have done would have been to bank them but that deadline passed (unless you are 5-Star Elite).

As indicated, not many options now except a use-em or lose-em. The use-em options are fading fast also as I suspect there won't be much availability left anywhere this late in the year.

I believe you can only convert whole weeks to loyalty points, and the time to do that for 2018 Options has also passed.

Normally there is an option to use options (not just the whole unit) with hotel and cruise exchange through interval but there is a pop up on interval when you try this option that due to the integration with Marriott and II this option won't be available again until sometime in 2019. As others mentioned only 5 stars still have the option to move points around this late in the year. If you can't book and use a night or two then the points will simply expire.

That is correct if you are a week owner. If you are a Flex Point owner, you are able to convert any amount.

You could probably get 4 nights (Monday thru Thursday) in a 1 bedroom unit at the Vistana Resort during weeks 48-50. That would be 16,650 options. Book 4 nights using your options and rent a few more nights to make it a full week. Rent is cheap those weeks.

Also, Sheraton Broadway Plantation has villas available for 4 nights with ck-in either 12/16, or 12/21 for the number of options that you want to use up. Good luck!

The time to convert has still passed for Flex too, right?

Yes, the time has passed for everything except using the points unless you are 5-Star Elite and then the only choice remaining is banking the points.
