How do I cancel an AC exchange?

I put in my first OGS into II for a very unlikely week. When I received a notice that my OGS was about to expire, I assumed it wasn’t going to happen, so I made other plans. Lo and behold, at 6am this morning (Sunday) I received an email that my OGS was matched! But there is zero information on how to cancel it within my 24 hours, and the II phone desk is long closed. Help! I would hate to lose my certificate and the fees I paid because I couldn’t cancel in time.

II doesn't have an online option to cancel - you need to call them today.
I have always found it isn't necessarily 24 hours - it is more like next day.
Just call when they open.

When does the deposit expire? What are you going to do with it?

I set my alarm for 6am this morning and was able to cancel the reservation and get my certificate and exchange fee back. It took about 30 minutes.

When does the deposit expire? What are you going to do with it?

The AC expires in February 2019 and I have no idea what to do with it. It’s a shame I cannot use it for our December trip.

We are on the west coast in Northern California. I’ll have to do some research on what might be close enough to drive to.
