Reviews are very old, has anyone been here that can give me some updated info on the resort. We booked a week thru RCI for August to escape the Florida heat for a few days.
Thanks,

We haven't been the past two years, but we are checking in again this coming Saturday. We like the place. It's well located for doing a variety of activities, the scenery is lovely, the golf convenient and well priced. There are many great places to eat. Waynesville is nearby with shopping and dining. The weather is so much cooler there than it is at home, that it's a welcome respite.
We checked in yesterday to our "cabin" here at Peppertree Maggie Valley. Everything has gone very smoothly and we are enjoying the cool temperatures and beautiful scenery. Our unit is perfect for us.
It's not "fancy," but it is very comfortable, convenient, clean, and, really, exactly what I want here in the North Carolina mountains. I posted a couple of photos I snapped yesterday after we checked in. We're in an upstairs unit -- Love It.
Hi Suzanne, the round buildings are downhill from the pool at the Maggie Valley Country Club pool -- you get privileges there.Hi Carol, hope you enjoyed your stay at the Peppertree Resort. My brother would like to stay in one of the round units next month. I plan to call ahead to request a 2nd floor unit in one of them. How far are they from the swimming pool? We prefer not being close to the pool area. How is the food at the Golf Club restaurant? Since we are arriving in late afternoon we may want to have dinner there.
