just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Marriotts in Vienna, Austria. Planning on a week trip with family.

Looking for any advice. Planning on being there over the Easter Holiday late March early April.

The Marriott forum in Flyertalk has a good thread on Marriotts in Vienna. A few Flyertalk members seem to have some pretty good knowledge of those properties.

We stayed at the Vienna Marriott hotel, it was in a great location in the center of the city. I would definitely recommend it.

I stayed at the Vienna Marriott Hotel last year. It also provides great access to public transportation, both rail/metro and bus/trolley lines. The executive club lounge, available to platinum and gold reward members, also offered free wine, beer, and liquor, as well as having a good buffet for morning and evening meals. The location is so walking close to nearby attractions like the Vienna Opera House. If you like good jazz, Porgy & Bess, a short walk from the Hotel, is a great place to visit in the evening. http://www.porgy.at/

We stayed at the Renaissance Vienna ~5 year’s ago. It was the cheapest in Marriott system. It’s an old building but room was clean and comfortable. Close to metro so location is convenient. I would stay there again.
