You cannot reserve the palapas there. There are no "cabanas" per se, just the palapas on the island and around the pool. We own there and have never had a problem getting a palapa on the island. Full disclosure; we do get there before 10am.

This cabana will be for a maximum of 6 adults, this is the cabana on the left side in the picture.

Cabana 2, 3 & 4 (nr 3002/3003/3004) are all the same size and will be $ 150,- + 15% service charge per day.
For these cabana's the maximum number of adults is up to 4 adults per cabana.

All cabana's will include the following:
* Two bottles of Voss still water (375 ml)

They added Cabanas this year. We saw them but did not pay for them. Currently only on the adult side, but being added to the family side. VERY nice.

OK, I will ask
- what is the difference between a cabana and a palapa?
- and what would that make what we have on the beach in St Kitts (as in the photo here)?

.....that would be a PaBana or CaLapa :)
When you were told to hit the cabanas for the day....it sounds like you hit the cannabis instead. ;-)
