...Hilton Waikoloa Village? We need a couple extra days on the BI next month and thinking of using Hilton pts (Gold status) to stay 3 nights at Kings' Land. Will we have access to Kohala Suites & Hilton Waikoloa Village facilities? We stayed at Kohala Suites last winter and enjoyed the pool & live entertainment.

Mahalo!!

You will definitely have access to the Hilton Waikoloa Village Hotel and pools. Not sure what the policy is about accessing the Kohala Suites pool, I don't think they really check the access on that very much.

Kings Land will also offer music in the afternoon at the Pool Bar and Bistro.

Once you've been in the pools at Kings Land, you're not likely to cross the street to go to Kohala. ;)

There is no "restriction" to park/walk onto Kohala Suites property. You can walk into / sit at the pool area.

Yes, Kings Land guests have access to the Hilton Waikoloa Village hotel complex.

Thanks. When we stayed at Kohala Suites last year I don't remember seeing anyone with wrist bands so I guess our 13 yo g-daughter could use the pool there. We'll only be in that area for 2/3 days so just looking at various options. I'm sure the pool side bar would be glad to sell us a beer.

Sounds like the pools at Kings' Land are the 'bomb'.

Pool complex at kings' land IMHO is even better than HWV. It smaller, but it has nicer atmosphere and a more natural feeling.

If your looking for quiet time at the pool, the middle pool at the Kohala/Bay Club usually delivers.

Thats our experience as well. The last few visits we never even went over to the HWV pools. I think the hotel has bigger and fancier water slides, so if you have kids that might be a consideration.
