Does anyone know if we are still going to have the option to purchase CruiseOnly Certificates with our MR points after Jan 15? As it turns out, looks like Princess has canceled our Alaska Cruisetour (canceled the land portion of the tour) that we booked with the points and we are trying to figure out to keep the $'s with them or send them back to MR points.

Appreciate the help.

Yes, the $$ Cruise Certificates ($250, $500 and $1,000) should still be available. What isn't available, at least yet, are the much more valuable free cruise certificates (such as for Holland America), which are not currently being offered.

WOW it that a bad deal. At 145,000 points for a $1,000 certificate, based on present MF's and amount of points given when exchanged, That $1,000 certificate would only cost me $1,998.00. I'm to scared to calculate the lower amounts (70,000 points for a $250 certificate) as I'm certain it would scare me to death.

I'd be interested to see if the free cruise vouchers work out any better.

I know it is not the best use of points, but we figure this was the only way we were ever going to get the alaska cruise tour we have always wanted to do.
