When staying at a timeshare that’s owned as apposed to paying for nights is maid service & extra rollaway beds usually available.

Do most usually opt for the maid service??

Thanks.

With very few exceptions daily maid service costs extra. Most timeshares (Marriotts anyway) will give you a mid-week tidy service, empty the trash, bring new towels, make the beds with existing linens, etc. Some don't provide any service during the week.

I don't have much experience with roll-away beds. I have used them at Ko'Olina & Fairmont Telluride without an additional charge. I don't think all properties have them available.

It's going to vary from resort to resort what their maid service policies are and what options are available to you.

For example, I've stayed at the HGVC LV Hilton location several times on business. I've booked it using my HGVC points, open season (discounted remaining inventory booked at the last minute), and through the convention housing folks at a premium. The convention housing rental provided daily maid service much in the way a hotel would. The other methods don't, other than a mid-week cleaning tidying service. I'm certain that this location offers a daily service for an extra charge...it just depends on what you want to pay.

At San Clemente Inn, they figure costs about $35 per cleaning. This is factored into rental rates and stays, and when I've rented out part of our week, the proceeds we get from the rental are always minus the cleaning charges.

Generally though, most places do not provide daily maid service, do a mid-week cleaning and depending on the location, might offer additional offerings. You need to check with the resort.
