Thank you again for all of your assistance with my many questions, and of course, I have more...

1) Are the useage points "fixed", meaning, does Wyndham's bylaws allow them to increase the number of points needed for a week. As an example, Worldmark doesn't let a property's points requirement increase in the future, ie, Hawaii will always require 12,000 points for a 2BR.

2) Does Wyndham allow you to cancel a reservation and get your points back? Worldmark permits you to cancel within 30 days of arrival, does Wyndham have a comparable arrangement?

I realize that a canceled reservation (and restoration of points) might then mean the points expire, but just trying to figure it out.

Thanks again!

Kind of....

They can't change the number of points required for a high week, prime week, etc. at that resort.
They can't change the number of high weeks, prime weeks, etc., at that resort.
They can shuffle around the weeks if they feel the need to do so based on actual demand patterns. But I think what you were concerned about is point values to book a particular resort continually going up, requiring you to buy more points. The above poster is correct as in that will not happen. Newly built/acquired resorts, however, will continue to require a higher number of points to book.

By law they can adjust no more than 20%. I never hear they adjust the existing resort. The week of high, prime will get reassigned, but the total number of points are fixed.

Considering the point are based on the deed, it will be a hugh task to change the total number of points.
