Anyone know if this will work?

I'm trying to upgrade during flexchange from a studio to a one bedroom at a specific resort at a specific date. Can I use a one bedroom that I have, do a request first for the specific date/resort to do the ongoing search. If the connection is made, will II call me to confirm? At that point can I switch from the room I was using to do the search and use my already reserved room?

This sounds like it would work, but I don't want II to snatch the room I'm using to search!

I have done several request first exchanges and have never been called when they were confirmed. Even that you were called for confirmation, the exchange may go to the next exchange request in line, if there are any, if you refuse to accept it as requested. And if you were not home, they would go ahead and confirm without your permission.

II will definately confirm it, but you have 24 hours to call back and "not" accept the trade.
