total newbie asking about how to rent out

Hi everyone -

I have a platinum week, 2-bed villa at Marriott's Playa Andaluza, on the southern coast of Spain that I would like to rent out.

I have no idea as to the best way to do this. I would also like to know how to price it. Are there specific web sites for just renting? If so, which are the best?

Thank you in advance. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone could offer.

We've had some success in renting out our non-Marriott timehsares in Orlando FL -- experience that may or may not be relevant to renting out a Marriott timeshare on the Spanish coast.

We put (free) ads on Craig's List & at Vacation Timeshare Rentals Dot Com -- & our record of success is slightly better from the Dot Com folks than from Craig's List.

We've found eBay iffy for renting out timeshares -- got a non-responding buyer, had to jump though Square Trade hoops just to list, etc.

Several TUG-BBS folks -- not us -- have reported favorable experiences in renting out timeshares via RedWeek.

Our biggest stroke of luck so far is that this year's renters liked their vacation at our timeshare so well that they've been in repeated follow-up contact with us via E-Mail & snail-mail not just to stay in touch but to tell us how much they hope we'll rent our unit to them again in 2009. (But again, that's Florida USA, not an exotic locale in Spain.)
