Hello everybody, it's Gary once again. I am making this new post about a situation I was unfortunately found in, having been defrauded of thousands of dollars by a company that was successfully shut down by the government later. I was contacted by Ryan James & Daniels and was told that with a simple minimum retainer of $2899, I would be able to retain their services to collect my monies lost. I was extremely skeptical, but am a well-off retired Dentist and decided, "Hey, why not." They had all the correct information about my experience with the company that defrauded me and knew exactly what was needed to do, so I went ahead and trusted them, allowing them to retain the $2899 for the process.

I couldn't be happier with my decision! Just wanted to let everyone out there know that while there are some negative comments surrounding Ryan James and Daniels, they are absolutely the best company I have worked with in the recent future. They didn't make me a millionaire - (well, I made myself one many, many timeshares ago) - but they were able to successfully pinpoint $16,500 and I was able to recover my funds. They DO invoice you for half at the end and it IS a little bit steep of a percentage... but you get what you pay for.

Beware: all of the companies that I entered into negotiations with previously that promised me they would simply collect my restitution without an upfront fee were a waste of time and eventually told me that I needed to spend an absurd amount of money to sue whoever they were going after. Mauricio from Ryan James and Daniels never told me that - he simply let me know exactly what the process was and got the job done for me in less than 12 weeks. I am very happy with my choice to go with RJD and am simply making this post to educate the rest of the community on the misinformation being spread on Ryan James & Daniels being a "scam." Funny how you can go to the most delicious upscale restaraunt in the world and still find someone that complains about their bread!

There's not too many companies left like RJD. They are the best at what they do, hands down. I had a MUCH better experience with them than all other firms I have ever retained. I hope I'm posting this in the right section as I'm a little new here and don't know what's going on.

Of course, Of course, since it's a complete scam/spam post. "It's Gary once again", yet it his first post. Better yet, they are the best company he has worked with in the "recent future".

Shill alert, danger Will Robinson!
Gary the Dentist has been sniffing his laughing gas.

First of all, I am extremely confused and offended as to why I'm being chastised by my own community for sharing valuable information onto the next consumer. I believe that if we all work together as a team to get to the bottom of what's really going on, we can only go up from here. But we really are at the bottom of a very deep hole being mean to the people at Ryan James & Daniels, and truthfully here guys, we need to dig ourselves out. RJD was the last step for me in getting myself out of a large hole, a hole in which I WAS NOT sniffing laughing gas. If you guys don't appreciate my honesty then I'll just go back to my regular forums and not try to help anyone anymore. I tried AMS and THEY absolutely tried to charge me 50% up front, had no real legal department and were a total fraud. Are you guys saying I don't know the difference between a scam company and a legit company that helped me get my money back?

Sitting here, reading all of these comments, I have a feeling many of these naysayers are uneducated on the situation at hand.

TBH, I am not sure why you are saying "my own community". You literally registered today to post this message. You've never been here before. Surely you can understand why people are sceptical. Also, what are your "regular forums"?

I'm an elderly retired dentist - I can't remember most of my passwords. Thank you everyone for making fun of one poor old man and his experience with a company. Maybe there's something that I don't know going on here to cause everyone to gang up on me - i've been gone for a few months and it looks like this place is no longer what it used to be. I've recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's so I'm not 100% sure, but I do believe I've been a member here since 2012, I simply forgot my password. Go ahead and make fun of me some more if everybody wants - I won't remember any of the insults tomorrow, anyway.

Okay, what was your prior username?

You say you've been around before, but in your original post you say you're "kind of new here" and "don't know what's going on" (your words). We're not making fun of you, we're saying your story doesn't add up. Mocking is very different from disbelieving.

O.K. then. Being among those lacking any appreciation for your "honesty" and your "trying to help", that certainly works for me. Regards to your "regular forums".

Gary, Gary, Gary… not sure what your real name is, maybe William?

Let’s recap. William O’Hanlon is the person behind Ryan James and Daniels. Despite you saying that you paid them a retainer they are not a law firm. They are a scam operation. William O’Hanlon had a similar company out of New Jersey. That company, and William O’Hanlon, were fined $10,000,000 for defrauding timeshare owners and permanently barred from doing in business in the state of New Jersey. Their scam in New Jersey was exactly what you are claiming that they helped you with in your post.

You are a fake account, and made up post, to help further your scam.

Try your lies elsewhere.

I'm fairly new here - as most of the members here have been around since the 90s, and I only joined after I purchased my RCI membership and I have it written down that it was 2012.

I hope my community understands that I'm a frailer older person, and it takes me a while to type and I frequently make grammatical errors due to my memory issues. I am getting better though, some days are harder than others.

As far as my old username - I obviously can't remember that or I wouldn't have made a new account. I really am a retired Dentist you can search for me in any of the major Dental networks in the SouthEast United States. I worked as a plumber for a long time to put myself through college. I had forgotten completely I had been defrauded - in fact, I didn't even know - when Ryan James and Daniels reached out to me.

Bottom line, believe it or not, I did do business with that company. They were not calling me to "scam me" they knew all of the right info and even sensitive info that would be impossible to get nowadays with how secure everything is. (I was even assured by my agent Mauricio that my financial information is locked in a box at night before he goes to bed) and I may be misremembering that but they did mention great security features on my account.

I designated the account with them, I paid them the retainer, and obviously they did what they said they would do or else I would have my retainer back. It seems like most of you simply can't believe a word you are told. I feel immensely sorry and pray you expeditiously find some sense of trust in community members trying to report their own experiences with a specific company. I never met any Williams that worked over at RJD, so I think also you guys may be confused about some of your information. William I believe is the new owner of the company, but I never met him myself.

Anyway, my agent's name was Mauricio Torres, not William. He can't be that bad of a guy if his employees are so helpful, however.

I will admit that I wasn't fully advised of the situation with the new owner of the company before doing business with them. But my wife helped me do my research. If you have someone help you do your research, you'll see he actually had to pay a settlement and after everything was said and done, every action was basically dropped against him. He helped me, and this was all this post was meant to say. To be fair, there are people who are pointing out that the firm that did just help me receive over $16k of money I can PROVE was taken from me, did not just do that, when they did.

Period. Maybe some of you had some bad experiences, maybe some of you are simply disbelieving of everything and anyone. I implore you to find trust and peace in your life so you can truly enjoy the happiness that comes with trusting in a company and experiencing excellent results.

Thank you RX8 for stating this so succinctly

Au contraire, mon ami. Those "naysayers" collectively have many, many years of direct, first hand experience with timeshares --- and with the numerous and seemingly endless scam operations which the timeshare industry seems to routinely spawn.

I suspect that you may have picked the wrong crowd to regale with your incongruent fairy tale regarding "the situation at hand". Your (futile) effort certainly takes real hubris, but you should perhaps now just consider returning to your regular programming --- elsewhere. ;)

Still nothing in your post is believable.

So, just because you think a $10M settlement was paid for timeshare FRAUD, and banned from ever doing business in New Jersey, you think all is good because other actions were dropped?

Even if you were an old retired dentist with Alzheimer’s, which you are not, that doesn’t take away from the fact that this company and William O’Hanlon, are scammers stealing money. Soon enough, the state of Florida will be suing the company and William O’Hanlon, just like New Jersey. Unfortunately, there will be many people who have lost money by that point, possibly some of it due to your lying post. But you don’t care, that is your goal. Once they are shut down, you will crawl under a rock waiting to spawn again as another forum name to promote yet another new company name running the same scam.

"they are absolutely the best company I have worked with in the recent future"
RUN FORREST RUN

So what is the "recent future"? I guess I missed that in school.

Definite SCAM all the way............

.

Gary, as others have pointed out, they’re no TS Doubletree by Hilton. So, why should we believe anything again in your story?

Ill bet an administrator could work with Gary to sort out his issues with passwords/his account etc and help him...
no record of name or email anywhere...and our stuff goes back way before 2012.

if you registered in 2012 under a different name/email id be happy to look it up for you and get you sorted!

I’ll tell you what, these guys, like all collections people, need a hard lesson in etiquette. They did get us our money back, as promised. They did not tell us we would be called incessantly for the first month. Just when we had given up hope of an easy “refund”, we did receive the amount we were baited with. Thank God we keep good records of our transactions amd anything to do with Timeshares (which is a whole different topic). We are going to work with them to get out of our last property. I’ll report back with how it unfolds. They might be pushy, but they got the job done in relatively close to the timeframe they originally had promised. I wish I could remember the first guy we worked with over there. He was the best.
