Help Marriott/westin Maui Resale

Hi
Has anyone purchased a Marriott or Westin resale in Maui and willing to share experience? Would you give escrow deposit and sign a purchase contract through a broker without the seller first accepting your offer?
We have bought another and not had this experience.

Who is the broker?

I had a very bad experience in a similar situation. Took almost a year for Maui purchase to close. The broker likely doesn't have a listing and will shop it. That's what I think mine did. In the meantime, they have your money and you cannot act if there is another opportunity with a different broker.

With the economy you may be able to negotiate a lower price over the course of the year - especially when MF are due later this year.

agree Syed is the best for the Maui resales- he sold 5 for my sister. We also used him for a Kierland resale.

Syed is the man! You won’t have to worry about these types of details with him. Bought two resales for Maui through him.

I used Syed as well in 2018 based on recommendations from this site. It was smooth and easy. Definitely would be the only one I would use if buying again.
