New Photo Album - Grand Colorado on Peak 8, Breckenridge, CO

Since this was our second trip to this resort this year, this album is primarily of the larger Colorado unit we own. There are approximately 30 or so of these units at this resort, so I'm not certain what magic a non-owner would have to work in order to exchange in and get one, but I'm relatively certain it can be done. All of the Colorado units have the better locations and better views. There is absolutely no chance you're going to get a view of a concrete wall or parking lot. They range from 1 bedroom to 4 bedroom units (a master suite with 3 studio suite lock-offs). A 2 bedroom unit has approx 1,700sq ft of living space and three full bathrooms. We purchased at this particular resort because they allow owners only to bring up to two dogs per reservation and, we wanted to lock in being assigned one of these beautiful units. Of note we do exchange back into this resort and, each time we've done so, we've been assigned the smaller Breckenridge unit.
Back in June I posted a thread with a link to our stay in one of the smaller Breckenridge unit. I did post pictures from the Elev8 lounge, since we didn't visit that lounge last year.

It’s a 2 bedroom lock-off, so a 1 bedroom master suite combined with a studio suite

I saw your video on this also Doug and the dining room table was also huge with even more seating at the island/bar. Did I understand correctly that this was also part of an even larger four bedroom unit?

These were designed to be anywhere from 1 bedroom (master suite) up to 4 bedrooms (+ 3 studio suites).
they keep trying to upgrade us to a 3 or 4 bedroom unit by adding 2 additional studios, but it typically just the two of us and they only want another $30,000 per studio with each having a MF of $800 (last years fees). It’s pretty easy for us to decline their offer.
Because there are 4 studios for every master suite, they have refused to sell these as a 1 bedroom unit. I suspect the developer is having a little trouble selling all those studio units because I doubt very many people actual need, want or can afford a 3 or 4 bedroom unit. Current list price for a 2 bedroom summer value season is $169,000.
