I deeded back my Roark ownership so I am no longer in the timeshare business except for some points light that's still left in RCI. I was in Branson on Presidents Day weekend (yeah it was really cold) and drove past Roark Vacaion Resort and it almost looks abandoned. Does anyone know what Summer Winds is doing with the resort? It no longer shows up on RCI... I still wish I knew how to find a class action attorney!

If you already deeded your Week back to Roark, I don't know what good a class action attorney would get you except a bunch of legal bills...

Not sure what loss you would have suffered to warrant a lawsuit?

I'll say it again. The real plaintiffs in a class action are the attorneys. If they win, they get money; members of the class get vouchers/coupons.

Never mind that OP doesn't have standing or a cause of action.

I think all the owners got screwed, this apears to be a plot to take over the property and turn it into a new resort. We all had deeded interest and if a sale was forced all the owners would stand to gain, maybe not much after the attorneys got their cut, but it would be satisifying to know that Capital Vacations didn't get away with it.

We just got back from Branson. I noticed that Roark Vacation Resort looked closed down. I meant to try to get pics as we were leaving Branson Landing, but it started raining. Sat, at 2pm, the wait for Joes Crab Shack was 1.5 hours. Paula Deens was an hour. Restaurants are at 50% capacity and almost all had "must wear mask to enter" signs.

That is sad. We liked it during our stay. It needed work for sure, but it was clean and the use of the boat was pretty fun. I think most owners of older resorts like this one are kind of glad to see the resorts end and their obligations along with it.
