My brother had an accident and is in hospital in Vegas. Does anyone know if there are still any timeshares open in Vegas for new checkins? If possible I'd like to help his wife and kids move from their hotel room, but it looks like most everything is closed or closing. They might just be lucky to have a hotel but since everything is closed and they can't even enter the hospital, they are spending a lot of time in their little room. Thanks.

I just looked at II Getaways, see Marriott Grand Chateau and Polo Towers for TODAY.
(Best might be the studio at PT for $297?)

Maybe you could call them to see if they are open?

Are there any grocery stores or drug stores open near these resorts?

There should be social workers at the hospital. Arranging family lodging is among the things they do. The family should make their needs known to them. With all the casinos closed, there should be a lot of lodging available. We wish the OP's brother and family well, and the expense for family lodging should be covered by insurance from the accident.

Yes.

There are many shops on S. Las Vegas Blvd, across from the Grandview, and, on E. Silverado Blvd. nearby (its a good 20-30 min walk  ) there is also a Walmart and a Walgreens. There is an early morning courtesy shuttle from the Grandview that goes there and back a few times until about 10am.
