Pretty much most big routes gone until the end of April. Many to Europe gone all summer.

Thanks for posting that, but not sure what you are referring to when you say most of the "big" routes are gone. Based on the revisions posted, most of what I would call "big" routes have not been affected, although there may be fewer daily or weekly flights due to reduced demand.

The big routes between the major airports, such as Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax are mostly all still there. The list is only for those routes that have been affected. If the route is not listed, it still exists. Domestically, it is the short hops and more local airport routes that have been suspended until the end of April. Obviously a severe temporary cut-back on trans-Atlantic, trans-Pacific and Caribbean routes. Many of those countries have closed their air space or barred non-resident travel. Major routes to the US, such as Vancouver or Toronto to LA or Toronto to NYC are still there.

Friends in Belize were booked to return home to Calgary the 20 something of April and have been trying for days to get rebooked without success. They register with the Canadian Government's Travellers Abroad service each winter for their trip and yesterday that proved to be a wise decision. They got an email from the Canadian Gov't telling them to start packing, a chartered plane to repatriate stranded Canadians in Belize would be arriving Sunday or Monday. They were told they could have as little as 6hr notice to get to the Belize International airport. That airport is closing to passenger flights after the last plane leaves on Monday afternoon. They are sure glad they are able to get out before the virus hits Belize.
