Need a place for a three day convention at Moscone.
Anyone stayed or know the area and opinions on using the Pulse as Hotel.
Weekdays so cost is cheap in points

The Ritz Club in San Fran would be a better location to Moscone if you can access that using points... and its really nice.

The Pulse is by Fisherman's Wharf / Ghirardelli Square area.

The Pulse is a couple of miles, a couple of hills, and an awkward taxi/Lyft trip from Moscone. Many better choices.

Issue is cost. Almost free vs $1200 plus for Hotel.

Just noticed that the Ritz Club is closer. Anyone tried that?
Also, for the Pulse what is difference between no view listed and City?

See post 2 about Ritz. Its awesome.....go for it.

For Pulse...I believe its built as a hollow square, but one of the sides likely has totally interior rooms with no views as its thicker than the other 3 sides. So outside facing rooms are likely City view. Interior facing rooms are likely Courtyard view, and on the one fatter leg of the square, totally interior rooms with no windows are no view.

Exterior facing rooms get lots of street noise. Strongly recommend the interior, courtyard rooms for a more quiet stay.

We just went to the Ritz Carlont Residence Club in SF. Loved it. Would stay there again!

The Ritz Club is a couple of blocks from Moscone -- a much better choice for many reasons.

BART does not run anywhere near the Pulse (the Ritz Club is between the Montgomery Street and Powell Street BART stops; either works well).
