Has anyone been able to trade into the Grand Luxxe in Mexico? I went to the Vidanta sales presentation and saw the Grand Luxxe units. Those were the nicest units I have seen in the timeshare industry. That includes the Four Seasons and Hyatt. In fact, those two nlpale in comparison the to Grand Luxxe units. Now Vidante says that they are not a timeshare so I don’t know what they call those units, but I know they exchange like timeshares.
The made an interesting offer of taking my Ko Olina 2 bedroom off of my hands and gave it a value of $34,000 and then I would buy into their system and get a Grand Luxxxe 2 bedroom for $67,000. They had some sort of system in which one could get several weeks based upon some credit system. They showed how Marriott and other timeshare systems would be available to me through SFX. Also, they claimed no maintenance fees, but to make a reservation could cost anywhere from $675 to $1600 depending on the size of unit.
However, I just want to exchange and see if I could exchange there through II. I am not spending $67,000!
