Well I have only been an RCI Weeks owner and know you can combine deposits to give new life to older deposits and restart the two year clock.

I don't know a thing about RCI points other than the units are different than their TPU weeks accounts.

I am just concerned about having points deposits expire. Do they expire is there a way to save them from expiring??

Thanks to all who reply.

You have 3 years to use them. You can borrow a year ahead (presuming the MF is paid), then there is your 'use year', then any unused points roll over to use the next use year. Don't hold me to it, but I think you can pay to extend them again, but have never needed to do so.

I have been trying to read and find out but I think you can combine just like TPUs for new life to the deposits none the less I think I am going to take the dive and add a points account to my timeshare portfolio.

We shall see

I recall reading somewhere that if you have a Platinum account you get an additional year before expiration.
